Biking

The Cranbrook area features a world-class mix of riding opportunities.  From road riding to single-track, to gravel routes, to rail trails, to groomed winter riding trails, Cranbrook has something for every kind of rider.

Sunny days and mild winters mean that this region of the Kootenay Rockies is one of the first to see the trails clear of snow come spring. Sitting in the Rocky Mountain Trench between the Purcell and Rocky mountains, this is an ideal mountain bike destination with several distinct trail areas situated close to the city with quiet singletrack trails to black-diamond descents.
